Uganda Model 180 Concrete Batching Plant

Meeting Uganda’s Booming Infrastructure Demands

In June 2026, we collaborated with a major construction conglomerate in Uganda to establish a high-capacity concrete production hub. The client had recently been awarded a massive government contract to develop a national industrial park and its surrounding highway network.

Mega-projects of this scale demand an uninterrupted, massive volume of commercial-grade concrete. Relying on multiple small batching plants would cause inconsistencies in concrete quality and create logistical bottlenecks. The client needed a heavy-duty, centralized production solution capable of running continuously under high-intensity conditions.

High-Capacity Features of the Model 180

To meet the rigorous demands of this mega-project, we supplied our flagship Model 180 Stationary Concrete Batching Plant, designed for maximum output and durability.

  • Massive Storage & Uninterrupted Supply: As seen in the site photos, the plant is equipped with four high-capacity cement silos and a multi-bin aggregate batcher. This extensive raw material storage ensures that the mixing drum never starves, preventing production halts even if local material delivery trucks are delayed.
  • Covered Belt Conveyor System: For high-volume plants, efficient aggregate feeding is crucial. The Model 180 utilizes a long, inclined belt conveyor enclosed with a protective cover. This design not only maximizes feeding speed but also protects the raw materials from Uganda’s heavy seasonal rains, maintaining the strict water-cement ratio required for high-grade paving.

Professional On-Site Erection and Assembly

Setting up a stationary plant of this magnitude requires precise engineering and heavy lifting. Our technical team provided comprehensive on-site guidance to ensure a safe and accurate installation.

  • Heavy-Duty Structural Assembly: The site photos capture the critical erection phase. Using heavy mobile cranes, our team safely hoisted the massive steel cement silos and the main mixing tower into position.
  • Robust Foundation: Given the immense operating weight and vibration of a 180 cubic meters per hour mixer, the plant was anchored to a deeply reinforced concrete foundation, ensuring absolute stability for years of commercial operation.

With this high-capacity plant successfully commissioned, the Ugandan contractor has secured a reliable, high-yield concrete supply chain, drastically accelerating their industrial park development timeline.
